Last weekend I had a delightful opportunity to attend a baby dedication for my nephew. What this means is, my sister and brother-in-law attended a ceremony at their church in which they publicly made a commitment to raise their little cutie in Christ alongside family, friends, and church family, to be faithful in teaching him about Jesus in hopes that some day he will make a decision to know Him as his Lord and Savior of his own will. Dedication does not affect his salvation, but is for the parents to come before friends and church family and ask for support and encouragement in raising this little boy.
I got to take a few priceless and precious pics of the almost-6-month-old kiddo. Amazing how you can fall in love with someone you barely know!
